Dosage :

Recommended tramadol regimens for pain management include doses of 50 mg to 100 mg administered every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Tramadol dosage regimens exceeding 400 mg per day in adult patients are not recommended and will be reviewed. Tramadol dosage recommendations exceeding 300 mg per day in elderly patients over 75 years of age are not recommended and will be reviewed.

Overdosage :

Serious potential consequences of overdosage are respiratory depression, lethargy, coma, seizure, cardiac arrest and death.

If I Overdose

If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include cold and clammy skin, low body temperature, slowed breathing, slowed heartbeat, drowsiness, dizziness, lightheadedness, seizures, deep sleep, and loss of consciousness.

Missed Dose :

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered. Do not take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.
