Ultram Dosage


Dosage :

Dosage for adults generally is gauged from twenty five to fifty milligrams every 4 to 6 hours as needed.

Overdosage :

Serious potential consequences of overdosage are respiratory depression, lethargy, coma, seizure, cardiac arrest and death. (See WARNINGS.) Fatalities have been reported in post marketing in association with both intentional and unintentional overdose with ULTRAM. Seek emergency medical attention.

Missed Dose :

Since Ultram is taken on an as-needed basis, missing a dose is usually not a problem. Take the dose as soon as you remember, and do not take another dose for the amount of time prescribed by your doctor. Do not take a double dose of this medication.

Storage :

Store this medication at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep this and all medications out of the reach of children.
